Dr. Agnes Obuchowska
Dr. Agnes Obuchowska, Vaughan, Ontario, is an analytical chemist with a background in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and genetics. She possesses a significant hands-on experience in many analytical, organic chemistry and microbiology techniques as well as instrumentation. She has many years of research and teaching experience and her research results have been published in international peer reviewed journals. She obtained a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Windsor, a M.Sc. degree in Molecular and Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Waterloo. She possesses experience in academic and industrial research as well as developing new product lines by building R&D collaborations between industry and academia.
Dr. Markus Lemmens
Dr. Markus Lemmens, New York, founded Lemmens Media – Education, Science, Technology. The company is a pioneer in the area of publishing and promoting relationships between industry and academia. The corporation has been involved in technology management and providing continuous-learning courses on innovation and science management since 1996. Prior to that Markus Lemmens was Editor in Chief at Deutsche Universitäts-Zeitung, Head of the Profit Center Raabe Publishing, Bonn, and the CEO of Raabe Austria, Vienna, a company of the Klett Publishing Group, Germany (1989-1995). Further more he was posted as a correspondent at Lemmens Media to London (2000-2006). Markus Lemmens is also a lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin and the Universities of Bern, Hildesheim and Ulm for science management, research marketing and organizational studies. Currently he is correspondent for North America at Lemmens Media, New York. He studied political science and law in Germany.
